WHO WE ARE

The founder of Banjos Oysters is “Banjo” himself also known as Michael Banjo Young. Michael is an entertainer, well known across the world for his banjo and multi instrument playing, he relocated to Pambula in 1991 after selling his theatre restaurant in Melbourne called Banjo’s. He and his partner wanted to have a sea change in between his colourful musical traveling career life, somewhere away from the hustle and bustle that was good for a growing family and a bit of down time between trips, this is when he invested in his first Oyster farm in the Pambula lake in 1991.
